Touch 'n Go has taken to Facebook to remind users to only buy their NFC Touch 'n Go cards through official sales channels

In the post, the company stressed that they only sell the NFC cards through their Touch 'n Go eWallet shop, Touch 'n Go Service & Sales Centre at Bangsar South, NuSentral, Lazada store, and selected petrol stations.

Additionally, the company reiterated that they do not sell on any social media platforms such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and so on

This PSA may have been done in light of recent news involving a 55-year-old man who was scammed over RM23,000 after responding to an unverified Facebook advertisement selling four NFC Touch 'n Go cards for RM32.
