Rapid KL has introduced a digital version of its RM150 Monthly Rapid Pass, allowing commuters to reload their transit card straight from their phone via the Touch 'n Go (TNG) ewallet app

The pass offers 30 days of unlimited rides across the city's transit network, including the LRT, MRT, Monorail, Sunway BRT, Rapid KL buses, and MRT feeder buses.

The update offers added convenience for commuters looking to streamline their daily travel.

  • STEP 1: Tap the 'Transport' feature inside the ewallet app, scroll down and choose 'Rapid KL Pass', and select the monthly pass option (Rapid Bulanan).
  • STEP 2: Tap your physical TNG NFC card or wearable smart charm against the back of your phone, make the RM150 payment, and tap it once more to activate the pass.

The entire process takes less than two minutes.

Just remember that you still need to carry your physical card or charm to pass through the station gates, as the digital app does not replace physical hardware yet.

If your phone lacks NFC, you will still need to queue at the counter.
