Right out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ feels like a device that wants to redefine tablet standards with its sleek design, vibrant screen, and a host of premium features

Samsung's latest tablet offers an immersive experience, with a stunning display and robust performance that promises to impress both digital creatives and entertainment enthusiasts.

Priced at RM4,599, who is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ made for?

I explore this question and more in this review of the device.

The first thing that catches my eye is the breathtaking 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which delivers deep blacks, vibrant colours, and outstanding clarity, particularly in high-resolution content

Samsung has continued to elevate its display game, and this tablet is no exception.

Watching Netflix and YouTube videos or scrolling through visually rich content is a pleasure, and this large screen is also ideal for digital artists who want that extra canvas space. Paired with quad speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support, it offers an excellent multimedia experience that’s hard to rival.

Design-wise, the tablet retains the same look and feel as its predecessor and comes in two colour options: Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver.

Under the hood, the Tab S10+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor and boasts a commendable eight hours of battery life

I was able to navigate through multiple apps, multitask, and even play high-intensity games smoothly without issues.

The tablet also pairs seamlessly with Samsung's S Pen, which is included in the box — a standout feature in the market where most premium tablets require an additional purchase for their styluses. The S Pen feels natural for note-taking and drawing, and its low latency adds to the overall experience.

For users invested in the Samsung ecosystem, the Tab S10+ integrates effortlessly with other Galaxy devices, making it a versatile tool for those who like switching seamlessly from phone to tablet and vice versa. Features like Samsung DeX mode, which offers a desktop-like experience, and easy connectivity with Samsung's Galaxy smartphones and wearables make it an attractive option for those who already own other Samsung devices.

While the Tab S10+ has a lot to boast about, there are a few notable areas where I hope Samsung improves in future models

Firstly, though the DeX mode has improved over the years, it's still not quite a full laptop replacement. Some productivity apps don't scale perfectly, and a few hiccups with app compatibility make the experience inconsistent.

For professionals hoping to switch from a laptop to this tablet for all tasks, these limitations can disrupt workflows. I hope Samsung incentivises developers to optimise more apps specifically for the DeX to give its users smoother multi-app usage and a better desktop experience overall.

Also, if you're looking for a tablet to take professional photos and videos, the Tab S10+ is not for you. That said, the device does a fine job of taking clear images if you intend to use it to take photos of the whiteboard or documents thanks to its 13MP f/2.0 main shooter and 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera.

What's that I hear? Selfies? Yes, you can take some decent selfies with the Tab S10+ thanks to its 12MP f/2.0 ultra-wide front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ is a fantastic choice for creative professionals and media consumers alike if you're forgiving of its shortcomings — which aren't much

Its unmatched display, stellar performance, and versatile S Pen make it an enticing device for those looking to go beyond traditional tablet uses. Samsung has clearly designed this tablet with high-performance tasks in mind, and it shows.

Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S10+ stands out for its aesthetic appeal. The slim profile and premium build make it comfortable to hold and stylish enough to turn heads. While it may not yet replace your laptop, it can serve as an excellent companion device that complements your other tools, and its value becomes even greater within the Galaxy ecosystem.

Pair it with the RM749 priced Book Cover Keyboard Slim — AI Key (which comes as a free gift for a limited time), you’re looking at a powerhouse Android tablet that excels in display quality, creativity tools, and device integration.
