Anyone who's gone for a run knows that the right playlist can make all the difference. Now, Spotify is introducing a new feature called Running Mode that matches music to your workout.
Launching first on iOS, Spotify's Running Mode will generate playlists of songs that match the vibe of your workout.
According to Spotify, users can customise their playlist by selecting the type of run they're going for — such as interval, steady, or pyramid — along with the duration, beats per minute (BPM), and the kind of music they're in the mood for.
The app then generates a playlist tailored to those settings, with songs to match the energy and rhythm of your workout.
In addition to personalised music, Running Mode also offers optional audio cues that guide users through their run.

Unfortunately, it's not available in Malaysia just yet
For now, Spotify said the new Running Mode is available exclusively through its Spotify Fitness Hub for Premium subscribers in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden.
The feature is also currently limited to iOS devices, with no announcement yet on when it will expand to Android or more countries, including Malaysia.
