It turns out the gadget literally screams whenever you drop it on the floor.
The hidden feature was first spotted by Reddit user RF3D19, who noticed the device lets out the famous Wilhelm Scream — an iconic audio Easter egg featured in blockbusters like Star Wars and Indiana Jones
What makes this stranger is that the hardware does not actually possess a built-in speaker.
Instead, Valve engineered the internal haptic motors to vibrate at specific frequencies to produce the uncanny vocal effect.
While early reports suggested your gaming setup must be running in Steam Big Picture Mode to experience this quirk, players have since verified it works perfectly fine in any mode
The sound does not trigger with every single fall, and there is a one-minute cooldown period after each shout before it can happen again.
