Telegram is finally returning to Apple Watch, saving watchOS users from digging through their pockets to read a text

According to a post on X by Telegram chief executive officer Pavel Durov, the platform launched a native app built specifically for watchOS.

This marks a massive comeback after Telegram discontinued its original Apple Watch app years ago.

The new version lets you access your entire chat history, send voice notes, scroll through GIFs, and view locations right from your smartwatch

Getting started is incredibly simple, requiring just a quick QR code scan using your iPhone.

If you have extra cloud security, you will be prompted to enter your password before your chats seamlessly sync up.

Telegram first dipped its toes into watchOS back in June 2015 before eventually pulling the app from the App Store

This latest iteration is a much more mature, fully independent app designed for ultimate convenience.

Now, you can comfortably leave your phone behind while staying entirely in the loop.

It is a slick, comprehensive update that makes wrist-based chatting feel practical rather than tedious.
