New Tesla Ipoh Supercharging Station Completes Singapore-Malaysia-Thailand EV Highway

Tesla has officially launched its 21st Supercharging station in Malaysia at AEON Mall Kinta City in Ipoh, marking a major milestone for regional electric vehicle (EV) travel

Strategically located in the heart of Perak, the new installation serves as the final connecting piece in Tesla's cross-border charging network.

The station seamlessly connects Singapore, Peninsular Malaysia, and Thailand, allowing long-distance EV drivers to travel across all three countries with greater confidence.

The Ipoh facility stands out as the community's top-voted charging location across Malaysia

It is also the first Supercharging station in the country to feature satellite connectivity powered by Starlink.

Equipped with advanced V4 Superchargers capable of peak charging rates of up to 250 kW, Model 3 and Model Y drivers can add up to 311km of driving range in as little as 15 minutes.

Tesla has also enhanced the overall ownership experience by introducing cross-border warranty coverage, service access, and regional connectivity

Every Tesla vehicle now comes standard with Grok, a personal artificial intelligence assistant that helps drivers navigate to Superchargers, adjust climate settings, locate local amenities, and manage vehicle features.

With the addition of the Ipoh location, Tesla's local network now comprises 21 Supercharging stations with 92 individual Superchargers, alongside 18 Destination Charging sites offering 78 chargers across the country.

Tesla Malaysia continues to offer the Model 3 starting from RM149,000 and the Model Y from RM198,000

Under ongoing promotional packages, new buyers receive 3,000km of complimentary Supercharging credits.

Meanwhile, Model Y Premium RWD customers can take advantage of either a RM13,000 trade-in rebate or low fixed interest rates starting from 0.88%.

The automaker has also incorporated the Model Y into its global Refer and Earn scheme, allowing existing owners to earn credits for software upgrades or charging perks when friends or family complete a qualifying purchase.
