This Could Be The Best Look At The iPhone 7 Plus
Also rumoured to be called the 'iPhone 7 Pro'.
With Apple’s annual update right around the corner, we’re finally getting a good idea of what to expect from the next-generation iPhone
Unbox Therapy (one of YouTube’s most popular channels with over 5 million subscribers) has shared a hands-on video showcasing what he’s calling an iPhone 7 Plus prototype.
Also rumoured to be called the 'iPhone 7 Pro', the detailed hands-on video shows the major hardware changes coming to the larger model
The video shows off the dual lens system of the 7 Plus that will likely be absent in the standard iPhone 7. The headphone jack has been also removed. Twin speakers and the inclusion of a Smart Connector are placed at the bottom of the blue colour mock model.
Comparing to the iPhone 6s Plus, the video also found that the iPhone 7 Plus is slightly slimmer
The host, Lewis Hilsenteger, used a digital caliper to measure the two devices. The iPhone 7 Plus measured at 7.14mm while the iPhone 6s Plus comes in at 7.18mm. However, do take the measurements with a grain of salt as the iPhone 7 Plus is a mock model.
Instead of using one of the typical colours we’ve seen floating around, the mock model has a blue finish, which is widely rumoured to be one of the new colours that'll be added to the new iPhone 7 line
Last year, Apple introduced the rose gold colour when it announced the iPhone 6 lineup. It's pretty possible that the company would throw in one or two new colour selections for the iPhone 7.
It's likely that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now at the mass production stage in the run up for the release and unveiling in September. Expect more leaks in the days to come!
