As the 'ultra' version of a flagship smartphone line, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is no slouch.

Design-wise, the smartphone features a unique leather stitching pattern at the back. It also comes equipped with second-generation Nano Skin technology that is highly resistant to peeling and dirt, along with an integrated metal frame that provides a layer of protection.

Additionally, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra features a 6.73-inch 2K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate at a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Aside from that, it sports a powerful Snapdragon 8 mobile processor, a 5,000mAh battery, and 90W fast-charging to boot.

But the real standout feature of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is the quad camera setup

Leica brand ambassador and esteemed street photographer, Matt Stuart, describes the Xiaomi 13 Ultra as a professional photography tool, as reported by GizChina.

Firstly, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra's Leica-powered camera has four sensors, consisting of a 23mm primary lens, a 12mm ultra wide lens, a 75mm telephoto lens, and a 120mm super-telephoto lens that allows the smartphone to enable digital zoom up to 120 times.

The main camera is also complemented by a SONY IMX989 CMOS sensor with built-in optical image stabilisation. The other three lenses are accompanied by the SONY IMX858 sensor that boasts a larger aperture, resulting in better lighting when taking pictures.

The phone is slated to roll out in China on 21 April

There will be three variants of different prices, which are:

- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage — CNY5,099 (RM3,279)
