The phones in the ROG Phone series are flagship smartphones from ASUS, and they are typically packed with features that boost gaming performance.

The same holds true for the most recent entry to the lineup, the ROG Phone 7.

Performance-wise, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 features the top of the line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, which is reportedly 15% faster and more power-efficient compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 on the ROG Phone 6. The phone is further supported by Armoury Crate, a performance management software that gives you precise control over performance and tuning settings.

Additionally, the gaming phone also has its own built-in thermal system, the GameCool 7, that helps cool down the device when running performance-heavy apps and games. Moreover, it features a 165Hz AMOLED display, a massive 6,000mAh battery, and supports hardware ray tracing that produces realistic lighting effects.

Aside from that, the highlight of this phone lies in its customisable ultrasonic buttons

The ASUS ROG Phone 7 packs ultrasonic buttons called 'AirTrigger', which are placed on the left side of the phone.

The AirTrigger gives users a more personalised fingertip control when playing games on the phone, akin to a console-like experience. They also support a wide-range of gestures such as Dual Action, Press and Lift, Gyroscope Aiming, and more!

The global unveiling for the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series was held on 13 April

However, the phone will officially launch in Malaysia on 10 May.  You can check out their official website for more details.
