You Can Soon Speak And Send Images To ChatGPT. Here's What You Should Know

Now you can a voice conversation with ChatGPT or show it what you're talking about.

OpenAI is rolling out advanced voice and image capabilities in ChatGPT

The new intuitive type of interface will allow you to convey your thoughts directly to ChatGPT by speaking or sending an image.

First of all, ChatGPT will have a speaking feature, where you can talk to the AI chatbot and have it talk back

You can now use your voice to engage in a back-and-forth conversation with ChatGPT. Speak with it on the go, request a bedtime story for your family, or settle a dinner table debate.

OpenAI uses Whisper, its open-source speech recognition system, to transcribe your spoken words into text.

Beyond that, Spotify is even using this voice chat technology to help podcasters translate their content into various languages.

Next, you can start chatting with ChatGPT using images

Send one or multiple pictures to ChatGPT in any format – be it photographs, screenshots, or documents with both text and images.

ChatGPT, powered by Multimodal GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, will apply its language reasoning skills to a diverse array of visuals, delivering you instant answers and responses.

According to OpenAI, it will deploy image and voice capabilities on ChatGPT, and will continuously enhance these features

For now, Plus and Enterprise users can look forward to experiencing these new features within the next two weeks. OpenAI said it would roll out these capabilities to other groups of users, including developers, soon after.
