OpenAI uses Whisper, its open-source speech recognition system, to transcribe your spoken words into text.

Beyond that, Spotify is even using this voice chat technology to help podcasters translate their content into various languages.

ChatGPT, powered by Multimodal GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, will apply its language reasoning skills to a diverse array of visuals, delivering you instant answers and responses.

According to OpenAI, it will deploy image and voice capabilities on ChatGPT, and will continuously enhance these features

For now, Plus and Enterprise users can look forward to experiencing these new features within the next two weeks. OpenAI said it would roll out these capabilities to other groups of users, including developers, soon after.
