If You Get Arrested For Attending Bersih 5 Just Call These Numbers For Help

The Malaysian Bar has deployed a team of lawyers in preparation for the Bersih 5 rally tomorrow, Saturday, 19 November.

Lawyers will be available for assistance if rally-goers get detained or arrested.

The Malaysian Bar president Steven Thiru made the announcement yesterday, 17 November.

In you get arrested or held by the authorities, stay calm and contact any of these numbers for help:

The two numbers you can call or SMS are:

a) 016-4086264
b) 017-341 6239

The information you'll need to provide are the name of the person arrested, their identity card number, telephone number and the number of the police station the person is held at.

"One has to send a SMS to one of the numbers by providing the necessary information," said Steven in a statement, as reported by Free Malaysia Today.
