"Malaysia Mentioned" Is Trending On X Because Drake Makes Reference To MH370 In Diss Track
The feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar began in October last year.
"Malaysia Mentioned" is trending on X today, 6 May, after Canadian rapper Drake made reference to the MH370 tragedy in his latest diss track against American rapper Kendrick Lamar
Drake's latest song, titled The Heart Part 6, was released on YouTube at about 9.19am today.
In the five-minute-and-25-second diss track, Malaysia is mentioned at the three-minute mark. The lyrics go, "I'll slit your throat with the razor and do Rick Ross Air like that one flight from Malaysia, I'm your baby mama's screen saver."
The line not only references the MH370 tragedy that happened 10 years ago, but also to another American rapper, Rick Ross, whose private jet reportedly crash landed in Dallas, US, on 2 May.
It is reported that Drake also has beef with Ross.
On X, numerous netizens shared mixed feelings about Drake referencing MH370, expressing concern that Malaysia is trending for the wrong reason again
"Malaysia mentioned but it's a MH370 reference. Can someone call Chris Hansen on #BBLDRIZZY already," wrote an X user.
"Malaysia mentioned, not in a good way," tweeted a person, while another added, "Malaysia mentioned but it's terrible, bro."

The feud between Drake and Lamar began in October last year, following the release of a song by Drake and J Cole
In the song, J Cole raps that he, Drake, and Lamar are the "big three" of rap.
However, in March, Lamar released a song slamming the "big three" claim, asserting "It's just big me" in the rap scene.
Since then, the feud between them has spiraled, with both rappers throwing allegations of addiction and paedophilia, among other things, at each other.
