A couple recently found an adorably unique way to make their wedding memorable — by having their cat serve as the ring bearer.

The result? Purrfection!

A video of a fluffy white cat cruising down the aisle in a child's electric car was shared on TikTok earlier this week by TV3 presenter Fedtri Yahya, who was the emcee of the wedding.

In the 53-second video, the odd-eyed cat, named Lily, can be seen sporting a pink bow around her neck and looking stunned as the crowd stares at her with excitement.

Despite the unfamiliar surroundings, she remains seated as the car, adorned with a bouquet of flowers, slowly makes it way down the aisle to the happy couple.

When the car arrives in front of the pelamin, Lily's job is done, and an usher comes to retrieve the rings for the ceremony.

At the time of writing, the video of Lily as a ring bearer has garnered over 2.6 million views on TikTok, with many netizens sharing their amusement in the comments section

"So well behaved, Lily," added another TikTok user.

"If this was my cat, it would have defecated in the car," one netizen said in jest.

Fedtri told SAYS that the wedding ceremony took place at Putra Glass Hall, Shah Alam on 9 September

The night celebrated the union of two orthopaedic surgeons.

In Fedtri's many years of experience as a emcee, he said it was his first time seeing a cat as the ring bearer.
