The wealthiest man in the world, Tesla's chief executive officer Elon Musk, just gave one of Southeast Asia's all-time favourite candy, Kopiko, a two thumbs up

The Indonesian-made, coffee-flavoured sweet was introduced to Musk during a meeting with Indonesia's Maritime and Investment Affairs coordinating minister, Luhut Pandjaitan.

According to the minister's Instagram post, he met Musk at one of Tesla's Gigafactories in Austin, Texas sometime in April.

During the meeting, Luhut introduced Musk to a packet of the beloved candy from across the table

In a 13-second video of the interaction on Twitter, Musk takes the packet of Kopiko and pops a sweet into his mouth.

"Pretty good," he says while nodding his head.

He then gives the room two thumbs up to the laughter of the minister's entourage.

Musk's approval for the confection saw the Indonesian company that produces the candy, Mayora's, stock rise 7.3% the very next day

As of today, 11 May, the food and beverage giant's stock price is at its highest in the past month.

According to South China Morning Post, Luhut was in Texas to discuss efforts to develop Indonesia's electric vehicles battery industry and investment opportunities in the sector with Musk.
