A limited-edition candy is being released for Valentine's Day that's perfect for anyone who's in a 'situationship'

If you're not familiar with the term, a 'situationship' is used to describe a romantic or intimate connection that lacks clear definitions, commitments, or expectations.

It's a state where you're not officially in a relationship, yet you're not entirely single either.

Considering the complexities of modern relationships, Spangler Candy, a US candy company, is rolling out a fresh version of its popular Sweethearts candy

These beloved candies take the form of heart shapes and are decorated with messages such as "Be Mine," "Kiss Me," and "Call Me."

However, the new, limited-edition Valentine's Day version comes with a playful and modern twist.

Each box is packed with candies featuring the blurriest and most indecipherable messages, humorously mirroring the vagueness of some relationships — "messages as blurry as your relationship".

It's the perfect gift for your kinda special person this V-Day — a box filled entirely with "sweet, muddled nothings and literal mixed messages"

"Singles are taking 'situationships' to the next level this year, and Sweethearts is here for them," said Evan Brock, vice president of marketing for Spangler, in a statement.

"The printing on Sweethearts isn't always perfect. This is our way of embracing those imperfections in a way that taps into pop culture," he added.

According to Sweethearts Candies advertisement, these misprinted candies are no longer considered rejects.
