This Cat Looks Grumpier Than The Late Grumpy Cat And The Internet Is Losing It

Meow Meow is a majestic cat from Taiwan.

If you loved the late Grumpy Cat, whose real name was Tardar Sauce, this kitty in Taiwan will fill the grouchy-looking, cat-craze void in your heart

The Internet is hailing Meow Meow as the new Grumpy Cat, after Tardar Sauce passed away in May last year at the age of seven.

Meow Meow lives in Taiwan and is under the care of a big-hearted human called Clare, according to Bored Panda.

A look at Meow Meow and you will know she is a force to be reckoned with

She is not your regular cat next door as she is a survivor of hyperthyroidism.

When she was hospitalised for treatment, she hated everyone who had visited her - as you can tell from the face - but that is what people love about her.

She is able to express her disgust for the world with such dignity. So much so that you would feel like saying sorry to her just by looking at the pictures now.

It is also worth noting that Clare's love for Meow Meow knows no bounds, as she mortgaged her house in order to afford Meow Meow's treatment in America

"I took a mortgage loan on my house and quit my job," she told Newsweek.

"I found a place to rent in Portland, Oregon and took the bus every day to visit her in the hospital while she was in quarantine until she could come home to our place in Portland."

Clare said she was glad that she made the right decision because Meow Meow is still with her today and no longer relies on medication.

"We are so happy for her."

Meow Meow's human met her at an old pet store and she thinks that her pet may be older than the late Grumpy Cat

"Her ex-owner abandoned her for some unknown reason," Clare related.

"She was 10 months old at that time, so me and my younger brother took her to our house and she became my first cat."

According to Cat Reporter, Meow Meow has been living with Clare for about 10 years now.

Despite being a 24/7 angry cat, she is a sweet girl who massages her owner

"She massages me using her paws to wake me up every single day," Clare told Bored Panda.

If Clare does not wake up after the paw-some massage, she will start nibbling her owner until she gets her breakfast.

"After the meal, she washes herself and jumps onto one of her favorite places near the windows to watch the birds. Sometimes she even draws the curtains all by herself just to sit down and get a better look."

Meow Meow's Instagram profile is growing rapidly, where netizens are paw-ring (pouring) all their attention on this furball

"Grumpy Cat has been resurrected!" a netizen exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh! I love how pissed off this cat looks. What an awesome kitty," another Instagram user wrote.

Over on Facebook, some netizens are calling Meow Meow 'Angry Cat' instead because she is much grumpier than Tardar Sauce.

"She is Angry Cat, instead of just Grumpy, a new type of character," commented a Facebook user.

Another added, "Enraged Cat! Grumpy Cat was totally different and had a charming, but totally unimpressed look. The Ron Swanson of felines. This one just looks like it wants to eat you."
