In life, some things are just meant to go together, like peanut butter and jelly, cookies and cream, pisang goreng cheese, durian and rice...
But how about fried rice with coffee or chocolate malt powder?
Yep, that's right.
These recipes were created by Singaporean TikToker @ewjeans recently, who calls himself the "Flavoured Fried Rice Wok Master".
In a video that has garnered over 532,000 plays and 37,000 likes, the TikToker — also known as Eugene — begins by frying all the basic ingredients for fried rice: onions, garlic, rice, and eggs.
He uses a wok with frying skills that are quite impressive to some netizens.

Then in goes the 'special' ingredient — Nescafé Gold coffee powder

Eugene's MILO fried rice recipe has also captured a lot of attention
In an older video, the TikToker fries the same basic fried rice ingredients before topping off the dish with one sachet of MILO 3-in-1.
So far, his MILO fried rice video has accumulated over 1.3 million plays and 143,000 likes on TikTok.
