If you have annoying fruit flies in your home, try to make this easy DIY trap to get rid of them

All you need is:
- apple cider vinegar
- cling wrap
- a jar or small bowl

1. Add apple cider vinegar to the jar or small bowl, then wrap the top with cling wrap

If you don't have apple cider vinegar at home, you can also try it with a piece of overripe fruit, normal vinegar, or even old beer.

2. Poke a few tiny holes on the cling wrap and place the jar or bowl in the area where you usually find fruit flies. That's it!

Tip: Using one prong of a fork, make sure the holes are very small and placed far apart from each other so that the fruit flies won't find a way to escape.

Now all you need to do is wait and let the trap do its job.

Fruit flies will be attracted to the scent of the apple cider vinegar and will enter it but will be unable to exit.

You can make several of these traps to place around the home if you want quicker results.

Alternatively, you can also pour apple cider vinegar into a jar or bowl and add a little bit of dishwashing liquid

The dishwashing liquid will break the surface of the liquid and drown the fruit flies.

However, you might need to top up the jar or bowl occasionally, as the apple cider vinegar will evaporate over time.
