A massive 6,000 sq m Jurassic World theme park is set to open at Asiatique night market in Bang Kho Laem district, sending fans 145 million years back in time.

Announcing the launch of the park on Tuesday, 17 December, Asset World Corporation CEO Wallapa Traisorat said 'The Jurassic World: The Experience' is going to be the biggest immersive experience of its kind in the world.

"Our goal is to recreate how dinosaurs lived," she said, as quoted by Thaiger.

The 1.4 billion baht project promises to transport guests into its "vividly-reimagined prehistoric world", which will feature life-like, interactive roaming dinosaurs and thrilling attractions, alongside themed zones packed with restaurants and shops

Collaborating with Neon and Universal Live Events & Location-Based Entertainment, and using advanced VR technology and sensory feedback systems, Traisorat hopes the park will offer guests and fans a chance to relive the thrill of the Jurassic World movies by Universal Pictures in person.

According to The Nation, Traisorat also revealed that the 1.4 billion baht budget will be spent on the first phase of development, before the company commences the following three phases.

The CEO said the park is expected to open by the second quarter of next year, hoping that the project will solidify Thailand's position as a sustainable tourist destination

She also said Asiatique, a riverside promenade, currently attracts about 30,000 visitors on weekdays and 50,000 on weekends, anticipating that the new attraction will draw even more tourists to the popular market.

Traisorat also assured that admission tickets would remain affordable, at no more than a few hundred baht per guest.

In March, Saudi Arabia announced that it would be building the world's first Dragon Ball theme park in Qiddiya City:
