Check Out How Genting Highlands Used To Look 15 Years Ago
A trip down memory lane.
A lot has changed in Genting Highlands in the past two decades
For many of us, Genting might have once been known primarily for its casinos, cool climate, and theme park, but it has now evolved into a full-fledged entertainment hub.
We found these old photos and footage of how Genting used to look during the 2000s era, and they've unlocked some memories
One of the biggest game-changers was the theme park, now known as Genting SkyWorlds.
You might recall the Solero Shot or Corkscrew roller coaster, which always got our adrenaline pumping.
Or the Spider-Man ride that was built much later, but let's be honest, only the daring went on it
The real daredevils were those who went on it when the weather was the foggiest and you couldn't see a thing.
You'd end up shivering from the wind or shivering from adrenaline, or both.
If your crush suggested going to Genting to paktor, you knew it was gonna be a good time
So many rides everywhere that allowed you to be close to each other. Cold air somemore...
Speaking of cold air, remember Snow World?
Malaysians got to experience 'snow' for the first time here.
There were rides for the adults and rides for the kids.
NGL, when you were small, these were probably the scariest rides of 'em all.
Not all the rides were scary though, but still heaps of fun!
Things may look different now, but at least we will still have these photos to reminisce
