Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Company has signed a deal with Toei Animation to build the world's first Dragon Ball theme park in Qiddiya City

Qiddiya City is an upcoming tourism project located outside of the Saudi capital of Riyadh that will offer entertainment, sports, and culture attractions.

Set against the backdrop of Tuwaiq mountains, the Dragon Ball Theme Park is 500,000 square metres, filled with iconic landmarks and attractions from the popular Japanese animated series.

The place will be massive, just to provide a comparison, Universal Studios Singapore is 200,000 square meters, according to the Singapore Academy of Corporate Management.

Consisting of seven themed zones, inspired by the seven wish-granting dragon balls from the franchise, the theme park will have over 30 themed rides, including five state-of-the-art attractions.

In the heart of the theme park, there will be a giant, 70-metre-tall Shenron rollercoaster, which is based on the magical dragon from the franchise.

You'll be able to experience the thrill of soaring through the skies like a true Z Fighter.
