Mahjong-Inspired Watch Made By Malaysian Companies Revelot & BEHATI Goes Viral

Malaysian watch and wallet brand Revelot, in collaboration with local design company BEHATI, has created a unique Chinese New Year mahjong-themed Hexmariner, with only 88 pieces available worldwide

Drawing inspiration from the traditional game of mahjong, the Hexmariner celebrates tradition and artistry, infusing it with a modern twist.
The early bird launch for the watch will be on 18 January.

Revelot's creative director, Kevin HTJ, shared information about the one-of-a-kind watch in the Facebook group subtle asian traits, and it has since become a hit ahead of its release
The Facebook post has garnered over 3,000 likes and nearly 500 comments, with many people loving it and asking where they can buy it.
Speaking to SAYS, Kevin shared that the early bird price is RM1,488, while the retail price is RM1,788.

The hands and dial showcase an elegant blue plating, enhanced with a touch of Swiss Super-Luminova BGW9 grade A for a luminous and sophisticated appearance

Meticulously painted onto the bone-white enamel dial are luminescent Chinese calligraphy numerals, sure to captivate your relatives' discerning eyes
Infusing a playful element, a clever play on words revolves around the lucky number 8 (發), symbolising wealth, while the numeral at 12 artfully resembles 'noon' (中).
Further enhancing the design, a green date window (白板) is strategically positioned at 6pm. Collectively, these three elements come together to form the dragon tile set in a mahjong game.

The jade green ceramic bezel is delicately etched and infused with luminescent material, showcasing the four cardinal directions: 東 (East), 南 (South), 西 (West), and 北 (North).
Beyond their directional significance, these elements also symbolise a winning combination in the game.

The exhibition sapphire caseback showcases the auspicious red joker (飛), symbolising good fortune
Propelled by the dependable Seiko NH35 automatic movement, this timepiece not only exudes luck but also boasts an impressive 200M water resistance rating for enduring durability.
With quick-release spring bars on the 316L bracelet and a milled clasp featuring five-hole micro-adjustability, the Hexmariner can be paired with various strap combinations.
