If you've noticed you haven't used or worn something in the past year, it might be time to let it go.

Whether you're decluttering your closet or looking for a meaningful way to part with your pre-loved clothes, there are numerous avenues available for selling or donating them.

Here are seven places you can sell or donate your gently used clothes:

1. REFASH Malaysia

This boutique thrift store frequently organises consignment sales, where people can sell their unwanted clothing in exchange for cash. There will be an upcoming event happening from 11 December to 13 December at the Gardens South Tower.

The store accepts womenswear, menswear, activewear, maternity wear, and modest wear. However, items such as T-shirts, sleepwear, swimwear, intimates, and kidswear will not be accepted.

To sell your preloved clothes, you must first book an appointment with the store. You will receive a confirmation via WhatsApp once your booking is successful.

Here's the step-by-step process:
1. Bring a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 100 pieces of packed clothes to the drop-off location during your appointment.
2. After the clothes are thoroughly checked, you will be provided with a quotation.
3. If you accept the quoted offer, you can choose to receive compensation in cash or earn REFASH points.
