Meet Alice, a teacher from the UK who calls Malaysia home. She runs Sleepy Teepees KL, a business that takes kids' sleepover dreams and turns them into reality.
Sleepy Teepees transforms any room into a magical sleepover spot. Imagine mini teepees, cosy mattresses, soft blankets, and adorable decorations — all set up for you.
Alice and her team take care of everything, so you can just sit back and enjoy.
Alice grew up on a farm in the UK, where wide-open spaces and cosy farmhouse vibes made the perfect setting for childhood sleepovers. She fondly recalls late-night chats, movie marathons, and a "chocolate drawer" at her Granny's house that was always a hit with her friends.
"These cherished memories inspired me to create a business where kids in Malaysia could make their own magical memories," she explains.
The idea for Sleepy Teepees KL came when Alice saw her cousin in the UK throw a themed teepee sleepover for her daughters. "I was instantly hooked! It was the perfect way to bring a little magic to sleepovers here in KL."

There are six fun themes to choose from:
- Rumble in the Jungle (for little adventurers)
- Game On (for gaming fans)
- Best Friends Forever (BFF) (a classic favourite)
- SPAtee (kid-friendly spa vibes)
- Swiftie (for Taylor Swift fans)
- Rainbows and Unicorns (because who doesn't love unicorns?)
"But we've had some amazing custom requests too, like blending Harry Potter into a BFF setup or adding Spirited Away touches to Rainbows and Unicorns. We love getting creative!"

Setting up takes about one to two hours, and Alice's team makes sure everything looks perfect. They'll also come back the next day to pack everything up in just 45 minutes — all hassle-free for you!
Each teepee setup includes cosy Joey mattresses, blankets, cushions, and decorations.
While Sleepy Teepees KL mainly focuses on kids, Alice has done setups for mums-and-daughters sleepovers and even dads-and-lads nights.
"We love trying new things!" she says.

For Alice, the best part is seeing kids' reactions. "It's so rewarding to watch them light up when they see the setup," she says.
Over the past 18 months, she's created countless happy memories for families and can't wait to keep going. "I love bringing a little magic to people's lives."

Booking is simple. There are three packages to choose from:
Bronze: Basic setup with teepees, mattresses, blankets, and decorations.
Silver: Includes everything in Bronze plus a personalised item like a pillowcase or water bottle.
Gold: Adds a sweet treat tray and an activity like batik painting or crafting.
Prices start at RM260 per teepee for the Bronze package. Most parties have four to six teepees, but they can do up to 12 if you have the space (each teepee needs about 1x2 metres).
