Travellers, rejoice! There is a CW2 bus service by Causeway Link that allows commuters to travel between Johor Bahru and Singapore 24/7.

Due to high demand, Causeway Link, the operator of cross-border buses between Singapore and Johor Bahru, announced the 24/7 service which was effective from 1 August 2022.

Previously, the first CW2 bus service only departed from Johor's CIQ at 4am, and the last one in Singapore left the Queen Street Terminal at 11.30pm every night.

This was an inconvenience to many Malaysians working in Singapore, especially if they had to work overtime.

Causeway Link has since announced an extension of the CW2 service daily to fill the gap between midnight and the wee hours of the morning

This means that the cross-border bus service which shuttles between Johor Bahru's CIQ and Queen Street Terminal in Singapore will effectively run throughout the day, serving commuters from both countries!

The CW2 buses will be available at 45-minute intervals, depending on traffic conditions across the Johor-Singapore Causeway

Below are the bus fares according to the trips:

JB CIQ to Queen Street Terminal – RM4.80
Queen Street Terminal to JB CIQ – SGD4.80 (RM16.50)

It's important to note that commuters are encouraged to make payments using Manjalink or VISA cards, as EZ-Link and NETS payments are disabled for the midnight bus service.

So, say goodbye to the last bus anxieties

Now you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the CW2 Causeway bus service operates throughout the day, so you can attend to work emergencies or travel for leisure at any time!
