Nestled within Janda Baik, Happi Village is a nature hideout for those who are in desperate need of a peaceful getaway in cooler weather

Having opened a couple of years back, the luxury eco resort ensured that the construction process left minimal impact on the environment by not allowing any land levelling or tree-cutting.

Everything from the food served down to the enzyme-based shampoos and shower gels in each room, the resort stays true to keeping the place as eco-friendly as possible. Plastic water bottles are avoided, and guests are encouraged to refill their own glasses or reusable bottles with drinking water from the kitchen.

The first room, located on the ground floor, comes with a queen-sized bed and a daybed. It also has a bathtub with a garden for maximum privacy.

Located on the upper floor is a room that overlooks the forest and sunrise. It comes with a queen-sized bed and daybed, as well as a bathtub on the balcony.

Also situated on the ground floor is the Premium room, which comes with two single-sized beds and a daybed. Similar to the first room, it has a bathtub surrounded by a small garden.

Prices for each room range between RM400 and RM550, depending on whether it's a weekday or weekend.

Before soaking in the bathtub, you can enjoy a dip in the chlorine-free pool filled with mountain water and saltwater

Or trek to the nearby waterfall to bask in nature.

True to its stance, mountain water is also used throughout the resort for drinking and showering, aside from in the pool.

Even in its ingredients, the resort ensures that it uses free-range chicken, while eggs and rice are sourced from trusted suppliers. Organic vegetables are also harvested and cooked for guests.

Take a stroll through the passion fruit and fig farms that are within the vicinity on the resort's 21-acre land

During the lockdown, the resort came up with a passion fruit lava cake dessert to serve guests, using fresh fruit from the farm!
