Have you ever wished you could spend time with a dog but don't have one of your own? Or maybe you already have a furry friend but wouldn't mind being surrounded by even more adorable pups?

Well, in Tokyo, you can actually rent a dog for a walk or a cuddle session, thanks to Dog Heart!

Located in the heart of Tokyo, Dog Heart offers a one-of-a-kind experience for dog enthusiasts.

Whether you want to take a fluffy companion for a stroll through the beautiful Yoyogi Park or just hang out in their cosy petting space, this place has got you covered

They have a variety of breeds waiting to meet you, including:

  • Toy poodles (in multiple colours)
  • Beagles
  • Golden retrievers
  • Japanese chins
  • Boston terriers
  • Cavaliers
  • Chihuahuas
  • Shih tzus
  • Cocker spaniels

You can either spend time at their Fureai Hiroba (petting plaza) or rent a dog to take for a walk. 

The second and third floors of Dog Heart are dedicated spaces where you can interact with the dogs in a comfortable, relaxed setting.

For those who want to take a dog out for a walk, all you have to do is pick your furry companion, and off you go on a Tokyo adventure!

You'll be provided with everything you need, including water for your doggo, poop bags, and dog treats

According to Dog Heart's website, these are the prices:

Rental fees

  • Large Dog (Golden Retriever): ¥5,000 (RM160) per hour
  • Medium-Sized Dogs (Cavalier, Chin, Shih Tzu): ¥4,300 (RM138) per hour (includes nomination fee)
  • Medium-Sized Dogs (Beagle, Boston Terrier, Cocker Spaniel): ¥3,800 (RM122) per hour
  • Small Dogs (Toy Poodles, Chihuahuas, Poodle Mixes): ¥3,800 (RM122) per hour

Extension fees

  • Extra 15 minutes: ¥500 (RM16)
  • Extra 30 minutes: ¥1,000 (RM32)
  • Extra 1 hour: ¥2,000 (RM64)

Fureai Hiroba (Petting Plaza) admission fees

  • 30 minutes: Adults ¥1,300 (RM42) / Kids (under 13) ¥1,000 (RM32)
  • 45 minutes: Adults ¥1,700 (RM55) / Kids ¥1,400 (RM45)
  • 60 minutes: Adults ¥2,100 (RM68) / Kids ¥1,800 (RM58)
  • Extra 15 minutes: ¥400 (RM13)
