"The Best Gift" — 26-Year-Old M'sian Buys RM1.5 Million Semi-D House In JB For His Parents
He managed to buy the house after working in the funeral industry for over nine years.
A Malaysian man recently took to social media to share his latest achievement of buying a house for his beloved parents
In a post shared on the Chinese social media platform XiaoHongShu, the man named JS Lim revealed that he purchased a RM1.5 million semi-detached home in Johor Bahru at the age of 26.
Lim, who works in the funeral industry, expressed pride in this accomplishment, considering it the best gift he has ever given his parents.
"In fact, this is the second house I've purchased. The first one was for investment," he wrote in the caption of his post.

Coming from a modest background, Lim emphasised the hard work he put in to achieve this milestone
He said that he began working at the age of 13 and often took on jobs during school holidays to financially support his family.
Lim added that his father's work-related injuries served as motivation for him to strive for a better future.
"My father sustained hip injuries at work and has since been unable to work for long periods of time.
"Since then, I've realised how important it is to be financially stable on your own," he wrote.

After dedicating over nine years to the funeral industry, Lim successfully improved his parents' living conditions
He also took the opportunity to share motivational advice with those aspiring to succeed in their careers.
"Don't be afraid to chase your dreams. No matter how far you are, as long as you keep your feet on the ground, one day, you will be able to usher in the moment where your dreams come true!" he wrote.
