'Hot Daddy' Case: 6 More Women Detained For Allegedly Making & Selling Sex Videos
The police said investigations revealed that the six women willingly engaged in sexual activities with a man known as 'Hot Daddy'.
Last week, police detained six women for their alleged involvement in recording intimate acts with a man known as 'Hot Daddy' and selling the videos on social media
Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the arrests were made as part of their second phase of investigations in the 'Hot Daddy' case.
"Investigations showed that the six [women] engaged in sexual activities willingly, with no coercion. [Some were] doing so for profit," he said.
"All have been remanded to assist investigations," he added.
According to The Star, the six women arrested are between the ages of 21 and 36.

Earlier, on 17 January, 32-year-old Hasli Ikhwan Arif Zul Hasli a.k.a 'Hot Daddy' was arrested for selling explicit videos of himself on social media platforms such as X and Telegram
The videos in question show him engaging in sexual activities with over 20 women, reported Harian Metro.
Mohd Shuhaily said the initial investigation revealed that the suspect started selling sexual enhancement drugs from China through social media platforms at the beginning of 2023.
The suspect would invite customers to subscribe through promotional links on Telegram. Once payments were made, the suspect would send his customers links to view the explicit videos.
"All subscribers to this app are Malaysians from the LGBTQ+ community and lonely women with professional careers, such as doctors, entrepreneurs, and those in the corporate sector," said Mohd Shuhaily.

Two other women, Norhidayah Mahadi and Norshazrina Md Zamri, were also arrested at the same time as 'Hot Daddy' for their alleged involvement
The three suspects were charged under Section 372(1)(e) of the Penal Code for promoting sexual activities for profit, Section 292 of the Penal Code for possessing explicit materials, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for misusing telecommunication network facilities.
The trio pleaded not guilty. The prosecution proposed a bail amount of RM10,000 with one surety for each accused, reported Harian Metro.
