Free Malaysia Today reported that the announcement was made by Pengurusan Air Selangor (SYABAS) earlier today, 16 July.
The disruptions will last between two and three days.
The water cuts will be caused by works at the Sungai Selangor treatment plant
The works, scheduled to begin at 9am on 23 July, are aimed at improving water supply to Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya.
"These improvisation works will mean a full shutdown of the plant," SYABAS said, according to Free Malaysia Today.
Meanwhile, Sin Chew Daily reported that 15 Local Service Centres (PKS) will begin operation at 8am on 25 July.
The period of disruption varies across different areas
The affected districts include:
- Petaling,
- Klang/Shah Alam,
- Gombak,
- Kuala Lumpur,
- Hulu Selangor,
- Kuala Langat, and
- Kuala Selangor.
