Nur Alwani Fatihah Muhd Faizul, 12, received some unexpected advice from her mother, Warrant Officer II TNL Noorfarahimi Mohd Saedy, 41, yesterday morning, 23 April.

Little did she know that it would be her mum's final words to her.

According to Kosmo!, the daughter recalled that her mother's last words to her before leaving home were, "Take care of yourself and study hard," which was different from their typical brief conversations.

"It felt strange when my mum gave that advice, and I felt uneasy at school until my brother came to tell me about the incident that happened to my mum," she said.

She added that she is still struck by the advice because she had not anticipated it to be her mother's final words before the victim left home to participate in the parade rehearsal at the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) Lumut Base's airspace.

Meanwhile, the victim's eldest sister, Norlaida Mohd Saedy, 55, said that Nurfarahimi had shared a video of the aerial scenery to their family WhatsApp group before the tragic incident

Laila Fairus Ismail, 58, Nurfarahimi's aunt, said the deceased had been especially close to her, especially since their mother passed away four years ago.

Yesterday, 23 April, ten TLDM personnel, including Nurfarahimi, lost their lives in a helicopter crash during a parade rehearsal in conjunction with TLDM Day.

Her remains will be buried in Sungai Bayor's Kampung Damak Islamic Cemetery in Sungai Bayar.

TLDM said that arrangements for handling the remains of the victims are underway, with plans to be made according to naval protocols:
