Flash Floods Hit Selangor Once Again After A Night Of Heavy Downpour
Several districts in Selangor affected by the floods include Klang, Shah Alam, Puchong, and Kajang.

According to News Strait Times, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis has listed down areas in Shah Alam where water levels have risen:
- Seksyen 13
- Seksyen 22
- Padang Jawa
- I-City
- Bukit Lanchong
- Taman Sri Muda
Meanwhile, in Klang, flooding was reported in Taman Sentosa, Kota Raja, Taman Sri Andalas, Taman Chi Liung, and GM Klang.

The state department operation centre received several calls about floods past midnight, at around 12.26am
"A total of 130 officers and personnel, 20 boats, four vehicles, 10 utilities, and eight fire engines were sent to the landslide and flooded areas," Norazam said.
He continued that as of 3.30am, more than 31 victims had been transferred to temporary relocation centres (PPS) as a result of rising water levels in residential areas.
"Three PPS have been opened in Masjid Kampung, Johan Setia, Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2, and SK Ulu Semenyih," he added.
According to Bernama, the rising floodwaters also caused a landslide in Taman Sri Jelok, Kajang, involving a two-storey terrace house with four victims aged between 19 and 26. All victims were safely evacuated from the site.
Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari has visited Taman Melawis, Klang to monitor the situation there as the water level rose drastically
Amirudin shared on his Twitter that he went there with the YDP of the Klang Municipal Council, the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS), and the residents' association at dawn, around 2.45am.
He also mentioned in his tweet that a flood mitigation project has started, but is currently facing difficulties.
