Wong said that the working world is not the same as university life because most employers seek graduates with specific characteristics
She emphasised that employers seek graduates who possess not only a solid education, but also valuable soft skills, such as proficiency in communication.
"The career world is very different from studying at university, especially in building relationships with other staff, and networking between departments.
"The course, experience, and skills learned (at university) are all forms of education that can shape a bright future for a student's career, no matter what job they're interested in," she told Utusan Malaysia.

According to Wong, her achievements are not something she accomplished on her own, but instead, the result of the support she received from her family, lecturers, and friends
She also thanked UUM and added that it is one of the universities that emphasises both academics and extracurricular activities.
"Being involved in extracurricular activities taught me a lot about independence, and managing time and organisation.
"With excellent academics and a solid curriculum, I felt the pleasure of being a student while getting as much exposure as possible," she said.
Wong was also named the best student at the CILT Malaysia Convocation Ceremony in 2022.
