For those celebrating Chinese New Year in Sarawak, Ismail Sabri said the state government will be making an announcement on the matter as the state is under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

Previously, it was announced by the State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) that the Chinese New Year celebration in Sarawak is only allowed on the first day with an attendance of 20 people at a time, as reported by Malay Mail.
