Man In Kuantan Pushed His Mum In A Wheelchair After Stabbing Her To Death
The police revealed that the suspect has a history of mental illness.

According to Bernama, the 32-year-old suspect used a kitchen knife to stab his mother, Sefiah Hamid, before pushing her around in a wheelchair.
Kuantan district police chief ACP Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali said the incident happened in the living room of their house between 8.30am to 10.30am on Tuesday.
The suspect is believed to have put his mother in a wheelchair after stabbing her on the right part of her neck

"The 38-year-old suspect is believed to have placed the body of his mother in a wheelchair and pushed it about 50m from the residence," theSundaily quoted Mohamad Noor as saying.
The mother was reportedly a wheelchair-bound patient, having suffered from a broken back.
Passersby only realised what was happening after the suspect stabbed two other individuals while he was pushing his mother in a wheelchair.
"They overpowered the suspect and tied his arms and legs and called the police," Mohamad Noor added, as reported by Bernama.
The two other stab victims are the suspect's sister and her boyfriend
The district police chief revealed that the suspect's younger sister was stabbed in her back, while her boyfriend was stabbed in his arm.

"The suspect, who is unemployed, also has a record of psychiatric treatments," he told reporters, adding that the suspect and the mother were alone in the house during the incident.
The mother's body was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) here for a post-mortem. The two other victims were admitted to the same hospital for treatment as well.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder
If convicted, the suspect would face a mandatory death sentence.
Mohamad Noor also told the public not to spread videos or pictures of the incident as it could affect the investigation.
