Malaysia Sees 4,498 New COVID-19 Cases On Second Day Of MCO In Selangor

The last time the number of new daily cases in the country surpassed 4,000 was on 4 February.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced 4,498 new COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths today, 7 May

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in Malaysia to date is 432,425.

Upon recording 1,424 new cases, Selangor sits at the top of the list of states with the highest number of new cases. This is followed by Sarawak with 750 infections and Kuala Lumpur with 436 cases.


The last time the number of new daily cases in the country surpassed 4,000 was on 4 February

On that day, MOH recorded 4,571 new cases.

Since then, the number of daily cases has remained under 4,000.
