Video Of A Child Standing Next To Her Mum's Body Prompts Murder Investigation
The child was covered in blood next to the body of the woman.
Tawau district police are investigating a case of a woman, who was believed to be murdered at Kampung Ice Box in Tawau, Sabah
According to Tawau district police chief Jasmin Hussin, police received a report about the incident yesterday evening, 15 December. Following which, a team was sent to the shanty town.
The case is still under investigation and the authorities will release further information if necessary.
However, police have yet to identify the victim or the motive behind the murder.
The murder investigation comes after videos posted on social media showed a child covered in blood next to the body of the woman
One video showed the child crying while looking at the woman's body on the ground.
Another video showed a man, believed to be a member of the victim's family, holding the woman's body.
