He is among five men who were in two GISB motorhomes bearing Dubai licence plates.
The son of a Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB) leader was among five individuals arrested by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) while attempting to flee the country
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said that the arrests took place yesterday, 18 September at the Malaysia-Thailand border, as reported by FMT.
According to Razarudin, the Northern Zone Border Intelligence Unit identified two motorhomes bearing Dubai licence plates moving towards the Bukit Kayu Hitam immigration, customs, quarantine, and security complex.
Authorities observed the vehicles, which had the GISB logo on them, around 6pm before intercepting them as they approached the border heading towards Thailand.
The five men arrested are aged between 28 and 41
Razarudin also said police seized both motorhomes as part of an ongoing investigation into the group's attempt to cross the border.
The five detainees, along with the seized vehicles, have since been transported to the Kubang Pasu district police headquarters for further action.
