[PHOTOS] Incessant Rain Causes 50M-Long Landslide On Bentong-Raub Trunk Road
The Bentong-Raub trunk road has since been closed to all vehicles.
Incessant rain overnight has caused a massive landslide on the Bentong-Raub trunk road, Bentong Public Works Department said
According to the Bentong Public Works Department (JKR), the landslide that cut off a 50-metre stretch at 11.50am Sunday, 3 January was due to the continuous rain since Saturday, 2 January.
The Bentong-Raub trunk road has since been closed to all vehicles.

People have been urged not to use the trunk road
In the meantime, the installation of warning signs for landslide alerts has been implemented.

Meanwhile, heavy rain has caused the East Coast Expressway (LPT1) on both bounds, between Gambang and Sri Jaya in Kuantan, to be cut off to all vehicles due to a flooded stretch at KM198:
