The incident began when the Ranger driver was driving on the North-South Expressway near Sedenak in Kulai, Johor around 6.10pm last Friday, 18 March
A 44-second video captured the incident unfolding and the first clip of dashcam footage shows the four-wheel drive forcing its way between a luxury vehicle convoy.
The Ranger is seen driving in a zig-zag pattern, forcing a green Lamborghini to sidestep to the emergency lane to let the Ranger through.
However, the Ranger sideswipes the Lamborghini, causing a collision between the back of the four-wheel drive and the front of the exotic sports car.
The second clip in the viral video shows the luxury vehicle convoy surrounding the Ranger.
"Due to the collision, the (luxury vehicle) convoy was not satisfied and stopped the vehicle in the middle of the highway before a misunderstanding occurred between the driver of the Ford Ranger and the group," Utusan Malaysia quoted the Kulai district police chief as saying.
