Police Arrest 19-Year-Old For Alleged Rape Of Shah Alam Teen Who Went Missing

The girl went missing on 31 May after leaving her house to go skateboarding at a park nearby.

A teenager from Shah Alam who was previously reported missing has been found

Shah Alam district police chief ACP Baharudin Mat Taib told Harian Metro that the district police headquarters had launched a search operation for the girl.

"Around 4am today, 4 June, we managed to locate the 15-year-old at a condominium in Padang Jawa," he explained.

She was found at her boyfriend's rental home.

The girl's father has lodged a report against the 19-year-old boyfriend, claiming that he had raped the underaged teen.

Baharuddin said that the police found him at the same location as the girl.

"The man has been arrested for remand and police will proceed with an investigation. He is being investigated for rape under Section 376 of the Penal Code," he added.

The victim had been missing since Monday, 31 May

According to Bernama, the police confirmed that they have received a report regarding the girl's disappearance on Tuesday, 1 June.

Baharudin previously said, "She left the house on 31 May but had not returned by the time the police report was lodged."
