Putrajaya Security Guards Find Honda Civic Stolen From Genting And It Has... A New Look
Police commended the security guards for reporting the 'suspicious' car when it entered an apartment building.
A Singaporean tourist's Honda Civic Type R that disappeared from Sky Avenue car park in Genting Highlands, Pahang, last week was found in Putrajaya on Tuesday, 19 July
The stolen vehicle was found by security guards in the parking area of a condominium. They had found it suspicious when it entered the compound.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the guards decided to report it to the police after seeing the large decal stickers covering the body of the car and noticing that some of the vehicle's colours and features matched those in pictures of the missing car that had gone viral on social media.
However, to avoid detection, the thieves reportedly changed the car's exterior from blue and black to black and white. Its Singaporean-registered licence plate was also replaced with a Malaysian one.
