The Agong was pleased to share that he was given friendly nicknames during the tour
"I was touched when a youngster called me 'Pak Cik Agong'. Some called me 'Abang Agong'. There were also those who called me 'Gong Gong Gong', it was truly pleasing for me," News Straits Times quoted the Agong as saying.
He also mentioned that some of them even addressed the Queen as 'Datin Permaisuri'.

According to the Agong, the memories and the people will forever hold a special place in his heart
He said the tour gave him the opportunity to meet many East Malaysians, especially those living in the interiors.
"I met them, and shook their hands, regardless of their background because, to me, we are all the same... we are Malaysian citizens," stated the Agong.
He added that both he and Tunku Azizah have also taken note of issues raised by the people in the state and do his part to address them.
