"Ramainya, dah makan belum?"

Those were the first words the Yang di-Pertuan Agong said when he greeted media personnel gathering outside Gate 2 of the Istana Negara today, 21 November.

According to a video published by Astro Awani, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah appeared concerned when he asked whether the reporters at the scene had taken their lunch or not at around 2pm.

The Agong can be seen offering food packages in black paper bags with "Istana Negara" printed on them.

"Ah, ada rice (Ah, there's rice)," said the Agong when he took one of the items out of the packages, adding, "Dari mana, ini tak tau (I don't know where this is from though)."

While cameras clicked, the Agong continued to distribute the food packages to several reporters.

In a Facebook post, Istana Negara said the Agong gave out 150 food packages.

Before the Agong handed out the food packages, he asked the reporters to be patient and remain calm as the caretaker government is still running as usual

"I won't issue any statement (here), use the statement issued by Istana Negara," he said.

"Please take care of your health, everyone."

"Did all of you vote?" asked His Majesty, to which the reporters answered yes.
