What a chaotic Monday it has been so far. Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad resigned. Several Members of Parliament were sacked or quit PKR. And with all the commotion, the media has been working long hours.

With several important conversations taking place at Istana Negara, it is understood that the media have been waiting outside the palace gates since 7am this morning, 24 February.

In a tweet today, TV AlHijrah reporter @zaimzamani wrote that all he had was chocolate for lunch.

Fortunately, though, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong thanked the crew for their efforts by treating them to KFC

A video showing the palace team handing out boxes of KFC has received over 7,600 retweets at the time of writing.

After all, 'hangriness' is not the way to go. Thank you Agong and team!
