DAP is also reportedly on the same page. They just announced during their press conference that they will be renominating Tun Dr Mahathir as Prime Minister.

Sources say that they expected Dr Mahathir's resignation to be followed by displays of support for him to continue in power
The Straits Times reported that the resignation move is likely to have been tactical.
It is believed that the 94-year-old Tun Dr Mahathir is trying to undo the Pakatan Harapan transition agreement under which Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was supposed to replace him as Prime Minister before the next election, due in 2023.
The source told The Straits Times, "Nope, the Agong will reject the resignation saying Mahathir has the support from the majority of Parliament."

Malaysiakini reported that he returned to the party headquarters after an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong earlier today at 2pm.
When asked for his comments on Tun Dr Mahathir's resignation as the country's prime minister, Anwar said that he was with the premier when he decided to resign. However, he could not announce it to the media earlier as it had yet to be made public.
Mahathir is scheduled to meet the Agong today, 24 February, at 5pm
According to Tun Dr Mahathir's official statement, a letter of resignation was submitted to the Agong at 1pm today.
