27-Year-Old Seremban Entrepreneur Wins Mrs Malaysia World 2023
The beauty queen will compete with participants from more than 60 countries at the Mrs World pageant in Las Vegas in January 2024.
A 27-year-old entrepreneur from Seremban has been crowned Mrs Malaysia World 2023
Vanishaantini Pellarameas, more fondly known as Vanishaa, won RM10,000 in cash, a jewellery set worth RM25,000, and an all-expenses paid trip to represent Malaysia at the Mrs World contest in Las Vegas next year.
She was crowned by the international Mrs World 2022 winner, Sargam Koushal of India, at the Malaysian preliminary finals ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 3 September.
The first runner-up spot went to 44-year-old TV producer, presenter, and singer Laxmi Baker from Ipoh; the second runner-up to 31-year-old digital marketer Nerin Kaur from Pahang; and the third runner-up was 44-year-old sports medicine doctor Malini Karupiah from Ipoh.

Vanishaa said she was grateful beyond words for the honour of being crowned Mrs Malaysia World 2023
"This victory is not just mine; it belongs to all the strong, empowered married women out there who inspire me daily," she said in a Facebook post after the ceremony.
Celebrating her birthday in the same week, she added, "This title is the best gift I could've ever asked for. It's a reminder that we should never apologise for dreaming big."
Vanishaa, who is the wife of a dentist, also thanked her husband, family, friends, and fans for the support.

The Mrs World pageant is the first and oldest pageant for married women in the world, said Datin Harveen Kaur, the national director of Mrs Malaysia World and managing director of Mrs Malaysia World Sdn Bhd, according to New Straits Times.
Harveen added that this marks the fifth anniversary of the Mrs World preliminary competition in Malaysia. The auditions were open to all married Malaysian women, regardless of height, weight, age, and race.
