The remains of a man that were stuffed inside a suitcase was discovered along the North-South Expressway close to the Rawang Selatan interchange at 2pm today, 17 January

According to Harian Metro, the bag was found laying at Kilometer 447, heading north. Inside, authorities found six severed body parts.

Parts of the deceased were also laying on the grass close to the bag, a source informed Harian Metro.

Sungai Buloh district police chief Supt Shafa'aton Abu Bakar said his team received a call from the public informing them about the incident at 11.45am.

"We found a body cut (from the waist up) on the side of the road and found a luggage bag near the severed body," he was quoted as saying by Berita Harian.

The body was also missing its head and both hands and feet.

The victim, however, has not yet been identified because no identification documents were discovered with the body.

The victim's severed body parts were hidden inside the suitcase before it was dumped along the expressway.
