The police confirmed with the local paper that a 17-year-old was taken to a hospital while conscious, and that a 51-year-old man is assisting with police investigations
In the one-minute video, the hawker is seen talking to the teenage customer in a black shirt while cooking noodles. However, the conversation between them appears to become progressively heated.
The teenager repeatedly points his finger at the hawker as if scolding the man.
He then suddenly flips a tray over at the hawker, sending utensils flying all over the stall. Following the aggressive act, he points repeatedly at himself, as if further taunting the hawker.
The hawker reacts angrily by grabbing a soup ladle and rushing to the front of the stall to beat up the youth. Other customers in the coffee shop quickly try to intervene.
As the recording has no sound, it is uncertain what the pair was arguing about.
